Energy Efficiency Opportunities for YOU
Missoula Electric Cooperative has recently taken strategic initiatives to promote energy efficiency opportunities and provide incentives to our great Members. We have worked closely with BPA and are now ready to make energy efficiency incentives available to our Members after they purchase CFL light bulbs, most Energy Star appliances , Energy Star manufactured homes qualifying energy efficiency hot water heaters and appliance decommissioning. We are also working hard to secure energy efficiency incentives for our schools, local irrigators and our industrial and commercial accounts with our Commercial Lighting Program and BPA's Energy Smart Program for Grocers. We are going to make sure it is both easy and fast to get your incentives. The funding for these programs is coming directly from BPA our power supplier. We applaud BPA for their assistance for the funding and also for their expertise and advice from their knowledgeable energy efficiency professionals.
Being a good corporate steward and trying to find ways for our Members to save money is a goal our employees are focusing on. Our cooperative family would like to do everything in our control to keep your family’s electric power bill as low as possible. That might sound strange when you consider that most business or service providers are usually trying to sell you more. That is why belonging to Missoula Electric Cooperative is such a benefit for our Members. We are working for You.
Please call our friendly and helpful customer service representatives to learn more about the energy efficiency incentives that you qualify for. You can also review all the needed information and forms in great detail on our user friendly website. You will see just how easy it is to get an energy efficiency incentive credited to your account and then start saving money for a long time into the future. We intend to promote these programs by using this web site, bill stuffers, and local papers and through our Rural Montana magazine pages. Please remind your neighbors and friends to make sure they check out the opportunities available to them also.
We will continue to work hard to find better and better ways to serve you. We expect our new energy efficiency programs to prove once again, that, “We put the You in Utility”
