Missoula Electric Cooperative continually strives to promote energy efficiency opportunities and provide incentives to our great members. Working closely with Bonneville Power Administration (BPA) we have developed a program of residential energy efficiency incentives available to our members for:
-
-
-
-
-
-
-
Duct Sealing of electric forced air furnace by an approved contractor
-
We are constantly working to secure energy efficiency incentives for commercial, industrial and agricultural consumers. We invite our commercial customers to take advantage of our Commercial Lighting Program and BPA's Energy Smart Program for Grocers. For the agricultural sector, we offer incentives for irrigation system evaluations and upgrades, sprinkler hardware upgrades, and freeze-resistant stock tanks. We applaud BPA for their assistance in funding these programs and also for their expertise and advice as energy efficiency professionals.
Our responsibility as a corporate steward means finding ways for our members to save energy and money. Our cooperative family would like you to know we will continue to do everything in our control to keep your family’s electric power bill as low as possible. It might sound strange for a company to ask you to use less of its product, but the reality is it is easier and more cost-effective to conserve energy than it is to build a new power plant.
Please call a member of our Energy Sense team to learn more about our many incentive programs available to you. We want you to see just how easy it is to save money every month by becoming more energy efficient, and we will give you an incentive to do so. In addition to our website, look for future energy efficiency offerings in your power bill, newspaper and in the pages of the Rural Montana magazine. Spread the word. Tell a neighbor or friend how you saved money and energy. Together we can become more energy efficient, together we will.
